Obituary
Goldie "Go Go" Spears, age 82, passed away on Sunday June 27, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a loan officer in the banking industry for 20 years. Goldie had a heart of gold. She was the "Snow White" to all the animals in her neighborhood. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Rose, devoted husband of 43 years, William, brothers, Roy (Dorothy) and niece, Lilly Mae. Survived by her daughter Peggy Jo (Phillip) Tackett, granddaughter, Stacie (Tim) Shifflet, great grandchildren Kaitlyn & Taylor Shifflet, brother Earl Browning and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call THURSDAY July 1, 2010 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL, HOME 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM. A Time of Remembrance will be held 11:00 AM on FRIDAY July 2, 2010 at funeral home. Interment will follow at the Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio. Goldie was a very special lady who we all enjoyed . Her daily visits with Jim, Jerry and "DUKE" will be greatly missed along with her wonderful baking skills. She leaves behind nothing but great memories for us

Goldie will be greatly missed. She was one of my favorite people ever! A true christian woman with an amazing heart! Hunter will miss his "GO GO" tremendously. He always loved the visits he paid to her when she was home!

Your Mom was such a kind hearted person. I'll never forget how Goldie would come into my shop to give Ginger treats. She was a wonderful customer and friend and I truly will miss her. Goldie was one of my first customers and I always enjoyed our conversations. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
