Dear Rudy, Leo, Niki, Maria and Family,

John and I are saddened by the passing of Gloria. We shared so many great times with her and have so many wonderful memories. She had a beautiful smile that she shared with everyone. That is the first thing I remember about her when I met her. She welcomed us into her home and fed us A LOT. I recall sitting next to her at St. Anthony's in Youngstown at Sunday mass. She started singing and I thought I was sitting next to an angel. I really was for I believe God sends his angels to live among us and certainly Gloria was one. I remember how her faith sustained her when she lost her dear son. Anthony. I also remember her hearty laugh. And how can anyone ever forget her saying, "Oh. Rudy!" You, Rudy, and her family were the most important things in her life and that was very evident to all who knew her. I remember her calling me "Kid" and I loved that. She made soup and brought it to Youngstown when Zia died. She said you should cry in your soup and it helps with the grief. So, my friends, eat lots of soup and keep your memories of your wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law in your hearts always.

We cannot be there in person but we send all our love and prayers.

Hugs to all,
Joanie & Johnny

Dear Rudy,

We are one of your neighbors at Willowick. Gloria had such charm. We used to speak with her when she walked around Willowick. She was not afraid to say things like they were. We will miss seeing and speaking with her. We also remember you working at our voting precinct. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you during this difficult time.

Hi Uncle Rudy & Cousins,
I'm so sorry I can't be there with you, but I wanted to let you know how much I love all of you and just how much we will miss Aunt Gloria. When my mother told me of her passing, I began to cry; but my mother's unwavering faith put it all in perspective. She told me not to cry because, "She's in heaven now." I know that she is right and that this is really a time to rejoice because she has rejoined her children, my father, Grandma and Grandpa, and all of her loved ones who have gone before her.

I'm so happy that she passed peacefully in her home with her devoted husband by her side. We must celebrate her life and treasure her smile, her laughter, and her many words of encouragement. She was truly a blessing from God, and now she rejoins Him and his Mother in her heavenly reward. She lends her beautiful voice to the Celestial Choir.

May God bless you all. Please know that my thoughts, love, and prayers are with you all.

Love,
Lena, John, and family

my sincere condolances go to the entire family, Rudy in particular but Above all to my dear friend who is always in my heart...Nickie. i was so saddened when mom called me..i have such wonderful memories of her beautiful and melodious voice that filled the church with joy on Sundays and especially a beautiful memory i have of her singing at the Christmas midnight mass and a song we sang together in 1986. then there was her beautiful smile that could be compared to the splendid sunshine...and when i would come to visit from italy..she loved asking me questions about italy while i asked her questions about Nickie...just remember that the memories you keep inside your heart will always keep her near you.
Rest in peace, Gloria, and keep on singing among all the angels... all my thoughts and prayers. Felicia

Dear Rudy,

all my family is sad. Particularly, I remember the first and last time we met, Gloria, you and me, in Rome about fifteen years ago. I remember
our lunch and stil have fond memories of our nice meeting. Then I met through Internet Gloria's sister, Lea, and, later, her family. But the first contact with your family was just our lunch.
I wish to offer sincere condolences of Gloria's Italian relatives, particularly my family, my parents, Aunt Rina, Aunt Anna, Uncle Pasquale, and all their own families.
A big hug
Agostino
