Gesilda Rose Potenza, age 91, passed away on Sunday, April 1st, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Founder and Owner of Dick's Grocery Store. Rose was a former member of the St. Peter and Paul Guild II, the SFI Auxiliary, the Daughters of Isabella and the Amici D'Oro. She is preceded in death by Parents Concezio & Wilhelmina, special mother Panfilia Faiella, loving and devoted husband of 46 years Richard, sisters Geneva(John)Faiella, Wilma Pollina, brother Sistino, brothers-in-law Ray Quint and Daniel Hollern. Survived by daughters Barbara Potenza and Carole(Angelo)Cordi, grandchildren Richard Colasante, Christopher Potenza, Christa Colasante, Stacey(Stacey)Cordi, Michael, Mark and Joseph Cordi, Marissa(Rocco)Lumbaca, great grandchildren, Gianni and Adrienne Cordi and Rocco Lumbaca, brothers and sisters Lillian Quint, Mary Hollern, Elmo Faiella, Joanne(Anthony)Mangia, brothers-in-law Nick Pollina and Frank(Anna)Ferri, sister-in-law Settemia Faiella, special friend Lolita Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call TUESDAY, April 3rd, 2007 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on WEDNESDAY, April 4th, 2007 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Rev. Fr. James T. Smith, Celebrant and Rev. Fr. Bill Faiella, Con-Celebrant.
