Obituary

George Michael Siconolfi, loving father, grandfather, son, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on November 3, 2025. Born on August 7, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio, to Anthony and Theresa (Pappan) Siconolfi, George proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. George loved spending time with his family, working on home projects, watching football, and enjoying a good Italian meal. He had a gift for making everyone around him smile- his warmth, humor, and kindness were felt by all who knew him. He was the kind of person who made the world a better place simply by being in it. George was a light in the lives of those he loved, and his family meant everything to him, just as he meant everything to them. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, his gentle spirit, and the way he made everyone feel at ease. We couldn't have asked for a better father and grandfather, and we will miss him every day. George's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Anthony and Theresa (Pappan) Siconolfi; brothers, Frank and Jim Siconolfi; sisters, Jenny Gallichio, Mary Chackres, and Carmella Carfelli. He is survived and missed by his sons, Michael Siconolfi and Patrick (Stacia) Siconolfi; his grandchildren, Tony Siconolfi, Nickolas Siconolfi, Alec (Lacey) Siconolfi and Andra Siconolfi, and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Friday, November 7th from 10:30 am - 12 pm at John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Avenue Columbus Ohio 43212 and a Celebration of Life following at 1 pm at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9517 North High Street Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. We love you, George/Dad/Grandpa.

I work at The Coventry as the Experience Director and always enjoyed connecting with George while he was with us. We didn't know the younger version of George, but sometimes you can just tell how special a person is. We felt this way about him. It was an honor to care for him and provide joy for him in his final months.

Although I never had the honor of meeting your father, it’s clear you and you family were truly blessed to have him in your life. From the way you’ve spoken about him, it’s evident he was a wonderful man of love and strength whose influence continues to shine through you. May his memory and the legacy of his faith bring comfort and peace to you and your family.
