Obituary

George A. Pezzot, age 60, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. George was born on August 12, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to Dino and Mary (Della Flora) Pezzot. He graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1974. He worked for Dino Pezzot Cement Contractors his entire life, taking over ownership upon his parents' retirement. George was a sports enthusiast and and avid Buckeye, Bengals and Reds fan. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nichole; grandparents, George and Olga Della Flora and Umberto and Italia Pezzot. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughters, Heather and Jennifer (Rick) Geary; grandchildren, Gage, Adalia, Zada and Caspiar; his siblings, Rene, Dino Victor (Michelle) and Tim Pezzot; nieces and nephews, Katie, Ben, Tyler, Max and Jenna; aunts, Elaine (Kilby) Strickland and Toni (Rich) McCullough; extended family and many life-long friends. Friends may call on Sunday, December 11, 2016, from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., on Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Rd., Columbus, Ohio (43224). In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute in memory of George to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA (90266) or to St. Matthias Church. I am so sorry for your loss. George was a super nice guy to work with, I always enjoyed our conversations and am heartbroken that he has left this world so young. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rest in Peace George!!!
