Judy- Ken just heard the news today. We will miss Gary. He will be joining us from above on St Patrick Day 2010. We know you will all stay close as a family. So glad he had the time to join Ken down at Ohio University during Father's weekend. So glad Kyle had a chance to go fishing with Gary several years back. Bet he is playing cards in heaven with friends of ours.
We love the happy picture you chose to place on this web site. This is the Gary we will always remember fondly in our hearts.
Please take care and call on us if you need anything!

Gary and I were in the same graduating class at Eastmoor. I remember that in our junior year, he knew all the corny "grape" jokes that were popular then. He told them, and we all laughed. I am very sorry for your loss.

I remember Gary from our days at Eastmoor High back in the 60's. I think of him as quiet and gentle--a real person one could talk to and get respect. I know he will be missed dearly by all of you, but you were all lucky to have hime in your lives.

Tears came to my eyes when I read about Gary. It's been a long time since I've had that reaction and it's terrible. Sharon and I are stunned with Gary's passing at such a young age. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to each of you at this challenging period in your families history. We got to know Gary first through a professional relationship that bloomed into a personal friendship. He always, and I mean always, had a million dollar smile and a warm handshake. We watched him do things for other people (and for us) without a minutes hesitation. He took care of you guys and he took care of his employees. Even when business was real tough he took care of others first. So from one sailor to another...
"....I must go down to the seas again
to the vagrant gypsy life,
to the gull's way and the whale's way
where the wind's like a whetted knife;
And all I ask is a merry yarn
from a laughing fellow rover,
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick's over."
Sweet Dreams Gary. Love Dick & Sharon

Judy,
I was very sorry to hear the news about your husband. I told my son, Adam, last evening at dinner and he said, once again, you were the best teacher he ever had. I am sending you a pat on the back and a hug at a difficult time.
