Obituary
Frances Diane DiTommaso (Checchio), age 72, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2010. Born May 5, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed horseback riding, art and flowers. Frances was a kind and generous woman who was a patron of many charities. Frances was employed by National Electric Coil for 45 years retiring in 2000 and she was a member of several church organizations. She is preceded in death by her parents Michael & Josephine. Frances is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Luigi, children, Salvatore (Tess) and Mary Jo, grandchildren Nicole, Luigi and Angela DiTommaso, brother, Vito (Martha) Checchio and sister-in-law Leda (Claudio) DiIorio. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great niece. Friends may call THURSDAY, January 14 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, FRIDAY, January 15 at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio, Rev. Fr. Rodric J. DiPietro, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Marcy and I extend our heartfelt condolences on your loss of Frances. During this difficult time, we will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
I remember Frances for her many find qualities. The two that immediately come to mind are her kind and generous heart and her positive outlook on life.
I may no longer be able to give her a hug but her memory will always be just a thought away.
