Obituary
Evelyn Placenti, age 89, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012. Preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Michael and Libera Piteo; brothers, Willie and Dominic Piteo; and sisters Theresa O’Connor, Mary Mitchell and Rose Piteo. Survived by her loving husband, Anthony Placenti; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Tobi Placenti; son, Mark Placenti; and her dear and adored grandchildren, Michael and Isabella Placenti. Evelyn is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Tessie Sabella and Jane Piteo Larabee, as well as many loving nieces and nephews, whom she treasured and considered children of her own. An amazing cook, marvelous entertainer, avid reader and gardener, Evelyn relished her home, her family and her friends. She will be in our hearts forever. Friends may call TUESDAY February 7, 2012 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on WEDNESDAY February 8 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Condolennces may be sent via www.johnquint.com

I am so very sorry to hear of Aunt Evelyn's passing, my heart goes out to all of you. I will always remember her as a kind and loving lady and have such wonderful memories of her coming to visit when Grandma and Granpa were still with us. God Bless you all and give you strength during this time.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful, caring lady. She always made me feel welcomed and loved in her home. I often thought that I'd like to be a mother like her and was blessed to know her for that short period in my life.
