Obituary

Ernesto Patacca, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, October 3rd 2006 at his residence. He was born in Roseto Degli Abruzzi, Italy. He came to America in 1955 to start a new life for his family. A retired greens keeper from the Ohio State University after 20+ years of dedicated service. A member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved to work in his tomato garden. He loved to work with his hands and there was no project he could not complete. Ernesto is dearly loved and will be eternally missed by his family, friends and wonderful neighbors. He is preceded in death by his parents Davide & Addolorata, his devoted and loving wife Letizia and siblings: Joseph, Menichetta, Carmela, Antonietta and Betina. Survived by his children Joseph(Judy)and Ida, grandchildren Dena and Leah, cousins Romolo & Lidia Camelo and many other relatives in the USA and Italy. Friends may call FRIDAY, October 6th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on SATURDAY, October 7th, 2006 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 E. North Broadway, Msgr. Anthony Missimi, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Friends who wish may contribute in memory of Ernesto to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
