Obituary
Ermida Sorgini, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2006 at Manor Care Health Services. A former member of the Piave Club, SFI and Amici D'Oro. She is preceded in death by her parents Gennaro & Louisa Giuliani, loving husband of 49 years Pete, sons Danny and Jimmy, 6 sisters, 1 brother and brother-in-law Evo Signoracci. Survived by her daughter Anna Marie(Vince)Vitullo, grandchildren Daniel, Andrew, Bernadette, Peter(Liz) and Bianca, great grandchild Jimmy Pete, sister Mary Signoracci, daughters-in-law Elsie and Krystina Sorgini, devoted cousins Elda Cianelli, Chick(Betty)Centofanti, John(Mary)DiPaolo, Maria(Paul)Ciorli, Anna Monaco and Karla and Isabella Stacey. Friends may call Thursday, January 19th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, January 20th, 2006 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel(within the St. Joseph Cemetery) 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio, Rev. Fr. Rodric J. With heartfelt regret, my wife, Michele and I send our condolences to Ermida’s family. It has been a blessing for me, since last summer, to visit Ermida weekly at the Manor Care facility to pray and bring her Holy Communion as a representative from St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Her faith in and love of our Lord was very apparent to us all!
My last visit with her was made in St. Ann’s hospital when she received communion.

Dear Anna Marie, I was very sorry to read about your mother. She was so nice to me when I was little and lived on Weber Rd. I also have fond memories of how beautiful she always looked when I would see her at weddings and other functions. How wonderful for you that she had such a long life.
