Obituary

Erma Ellen DeRubertis Federer "Erma De", passed away Monday, November 26, 2007 at Riverside Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Frederick and Gioconda (Gallante) DeRubertis. Graduated from North High School and attended The Ohio State University. She was Homecoming Queen for North High School and The Ohio State University ROTC. Erma De was formerly employed with Jacobs Visconsi and Jacobs, Northland Mall Management Office and loved every moment being there. She was a devoted mother, grandmother "Nana" and wife who loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Ellen and her husband Dennis Joseph Studer, loving granddaughter Dena Ellen Studer and husband Thomas Joseph Federer; canine companion, Maxie, Godchildren Joseph DeRoberts, Michelle Ferry and Valerie DeRubertis; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lucille Federer, of Lantana, Florida, Lena Federer, of Columbus, Ohio, Clara Ann and Richard Hilgert, of Tampa, Florida, Larry and Virginia Federer, Emerald Isle, North Carolina, Bill and Donna Fulghum, of Pickerington, Ohio and very special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by infant brothers and sisters, grandson Andrew Joseph Studer, Godparents Michael DeRubertis and Filomena Ciocco. Erma De was a member of St. Anthony Parish, Columbus Maennerchor Damen Sektion and North High School Alumni Association. Family and friends may call from 2:00-8:00 PM, FRIDAY, November 30, 2007, at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue. Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, SATURDAY, December 1, 2007, St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive, Rev. Fr. Mark Ghiloni, Presider. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
