My deepest sympathies to you. I had the pleasure to work with Elsa during her time at the State Auditor's office. I always thought of her to be one of the best people to work with - positive, willing to help, always professional and a pleasure to be around.
I know I am not the only state auditor employee to have these feelings of her.
Please accept my condolences. She will be missed by many.

I worked with Elsa for about three years at the State Auditor's Office from 1995-1998. During that time, I went through a difficult divorce. Never did anyone have a pillar of strength as strong as what I had in Elsa during that time. She offered me sympathy when she thought I needed it and wasn't beyond giving me a kick in the rear-end when she thought I needed that also. She was a valued and good friend. We only spoke with or saw each other sporadically during the last six years, but when we did the years seemed to melt away as we would enjoy playing "catch-up".
My deepest condolences go out to you at this time. I know there is nothing anyone can say or do to make this any easier for you. Hopefully knowing how much she was loved and cared about by others like myself will give you a measure of comfort.

Elsa attended DeSales High School with me and I am so, so, sorry for your loss.
I haven't seen Elsa since one of our class reunions but she most definitely made a lasting impression on everyone that knew her. I wasn't surprised at all in reading her obituary that she was such an active member of the community. That is exactly how I remember Elsa, always taking a very firm stand on issues and active in her beliefs.
May the God's peace be with all of you.
