Obituary
Eleanor Virginia Gerardi, age 85, passed away on Sunday, November 26th, 2006 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Retired from the State of Ohio Department of Treasury after many years of dedicated service. A member of the SFI Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents Eugenio & Rosina, husband Marion, sons Richard and Michael, sisters Ermida Susi and Stella Gerardi, sister-in-law Mary Gerardi and brothers-in-law Sam and Peter. Survived by her daughters-in-law Carol and Linda, grandchildren Angela, Michael "Little Mike"(Joanna), John, Emanuel(Karen) and David(Debbie)Wetherell, great grandchildren Alyssa,Lauren & Annie Gerardi, Julia and Gia Wetherell and Caleb and Dominic Gerardi, brothers Ernest(Anne)D'Angelo and Eugene(Priscilla)D'Angelo, brothers-in-law Lucian Susi and Dominic Gerardi and sister-in-law Mary Gerardi . Friends may call THURSDAY, November 30th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with the SFI Service at 4:00 PM and Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on FRIDAY December 1st, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street, Rev. Fr. William A. Metzger, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish, may contribute in memory of Eleanor to Mount Carmel Hospice, 793 West State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43222. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.

I just wanted to say how sorry i'am to hear about eleanor(i mean mrs.gerardi) she was a good person and like a second mother to me and to a lot of mike's and rick's friends she will be missed but now the will be together again and in a much better place. i'm trying to find someone to work for so i can at least come to see her.if there is anything i can do please let me. Joey(what she call me never joe)and i didn't mind

I want to send my condolence on your lose. She was a beautiful lady in so many ways. I can still her speaking in Italian " May I have the patience of a saint". I was one of her caregivers at Wesley Ridge. She truly will be missed.

Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am very sorry for your loss . Eleanor and Stella were like my sisters for 63 years instead of in-laws . I have always cherished their company . I am sorry I am unable to be there. God bless all of you .
