Obituary
Fox, Edward J. Sr., age 78, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2010. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on January 22, 1932 to the late Edward and Kathryn (O’Hara) Fox. He was a 1951 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster and a proud Korean War Veteran (USAF). Member of the American Legion Post 614 in Hilliard (Lancaster Post 11 many years), VFW Post 1082 in Bedford, Ohio, and Moose Lodge 2236 in Hilliard. He is preceded in death by his brother Dr. Thomas Fox, sisters Helen Macklin, Genevieve Miller and Rose Marie Burch, sister-in-law Christena Fox, brothers-in-law Dr. John Brennan, Paul Macklin and E. Worthington Miller, and niece Nancy Macklin. He is survived by his children Edward (Denise), Lisa (James) Dellinger and Daniel (Jan); adored grandchildren, Samuel and Genevieve Fox, Blythe and Jacob Dellinger; sisters, Jane Pultz, Ann Fox, Kathryn Brennan, Marilyn Webster and brothers-in-law Dr. Andrew Pultz and Lawrence Burch; ALL of his cherished nieces and nephews and their extended families. He had endless friendships. He will live in ALL of our hearts forever. Friends may call THURSDAY, July 22, 2010 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Friends and family will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:30 a.m. FRIDAY, July 23, 2010 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 132 S. High Street, Lancaster, Ohio. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 1500 South Broad Street, Lancaster, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in his name to The American Cancer Society or The American Diabetes Association. www.johnquint.com

Ed was a wonderful man. He was so full of love and knowledge. He was always cracking jokes. Such a patriot serviceman with many stories to tell. He was so proud of his children and grand-children. His eyes would light up when he talked about them. We loved Ed dearly and he will sadly missed.
