Donna "Tillie" Salvatore, age 83, passed away on Thursday, March 2nd, 2006 at Arlington Court Nursing Home. She was a Personal Secretary to Governor Thomas J. Herbert, Lt. Governor John W. Brown, Lt. Governor and then Governor George V. Voinovich. Member of GALA, St. Francis Seniors, Amici D'Oro, St. Peter & Paul Guild #9, Phi Beta Sigma Sorority, Blessed Mother Sodality and St. John The Baptist Italian Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by Parents Fred and Ida and brother Pasquale. Survived by sister-in-law Jenny Salvatore, nephews and niece Fred, Pasquale(Sherry), Ida Salvatore and Mark Salvatore, great nieces and nephews, Gina, Kelly, Shelly and Dannielle Salvatore, Franklin Scales, Patrick(Katie)Scales and Jenny(David)Conley, great great niece Kadence. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Friends may call Monday, March 6th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM with the Phi Beta Sigma service at 6:45 PM, Amici D'Oro service at 7:00 PM, the GALA service at 7:15 PM and Catholic Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 7th, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street, Columbus, Ohio, Rev. Fr. William A. Metzger, Celebrant and Msgr. Mario Serraglio & Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Con-Celebrants. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
