Obituary
Donna Marie Marhevka Karabinos, 51, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away June 2nd, 2011. Born on September 26th, 1959. Donna loved spending time with her family, gardening, artwork, the National Parks, socializing and laughing with friends at her children's sporting events, and taking long walks with the family dog, Joey. Donna graduated from The Ohio State University and received a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Law. She is preceded in death by her father, Peter Marhevka. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Tom Karabinos, her adoring children, Kate and Drew, her mother Evelyn Marhevka and sisters Lynn DelNegro and Kathy Morgan. Loving sister-in-law and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call TUESDAY June 7, 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on WEDNESDAY June 8 at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, Ohio, Rev. Fr. Mark Summers, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.

Tom and family of Donna,
Donna was my RA freshman year at Ohio State...before it was THE Ohio State University. As a scared freshman away from home, Donna was the role model I needed. She was intelligent, compassionate, funny, and charismatic. I remember thinking that if I grew up to be half the person she was that I would do well. I would run into Donna studying in the Law Library my junior year, and still being amazed by her in every way. She truly made an impression on me. About 10 years ago, I ran into her at St. Brigid. I was so happy to hear that she had married Tom and had a beautiful fammily. I was devastated to hear of her passing. She was truly a person who stayed with em through the decades. She was an impressive woman. Tom, I hope you find peace and take comfort in others in the coming days. I know that she has found the peace she needed and is now in the loving arms of God. I hope to make it to mass on Wednesday to say goodbye to someone who touched my life at an early age. Please tell your children how their mother touched a life a long time ago that continued through many decades. God Bless, Theresa Roman

Earlier this year Donna had sent my family condolences when our brother Joe passed, she wrote that she was very saddened to hear of Joe's passing, her prayers are with our families. It's with great sympathy that our family returns the condolence. Going to school at St. Mary's, everyone was kind of close. Donna & her friends would be "Big Sisters" to the younger girls, we hade great times playing basketball/baseball. Very memorable times, in the end that's all we have. God has plans for us all, just wish we knew what that was beforehand, it would save us alot of sorrow.
