My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of loss. Beadoll was a loyal, giving friend to my grandmother Sue Susi -- and therefore, a dear friend to all of us.

With sympathy,

The morning after I heard about your mother passing away, I heard the children's hymn "This Little Light of Mine" and I thought about your mom. In her own way she was a light to many of us "kids" who grew up around her.
She was loving and always watchful of us. I often tell my own children that we didn't get by with anything in our neighborhood because we had too many moms watching us. But she was always there to help out, pass out cookies (I still remember how good her kitchen always smelled) and love.

Dear David,

For some reason Carol went to the John Quint website and saw that your mom had died. Oh my gosh, we were in such disbelief. I wish we had known, we certainly would have liked to have paid our last respects. You can't know how your mom's homemade dinner and visit with us helped us to get through our dad's death, earlier this year. She told us so many funny stories. I will always treasure the memories of your mom and dad coming to visit our home when we were kids.

We will be sending you a card soon, but I wanted to send you this note as soon as I could. Take care of yourself.

Fondly,

Barb
