Clara was such a great witness and blessing of God's power, love, and way of life. She was a wonderful friend of my mother, Josephine Henderson, and was so loving and encouraging to Greg and I, our children and grandchildren. When we visited Clara and when we left, we always felt so uplifted and inspired by her attitude and response to life. As she patted our hands, she always told us that Jesus loved us and would be with us. As she waved us good-bye, the sparkle in her eyes made us feel so special.
We were so happy when we helped celebrate her 100th Birthday with her. I loved to take her picture. She always had a smile on her face and was beautifully dressed. As I look at her pictures, I will remember her as a prayer warrior and Bible reader. She has taught us all how to live life with dignity and love. We will miss her but know that we will meet again in Eternity.

We wish to express our condolences to the family.
Clara played a big part in my (Jay) life. I can still remember when I was little and my Mother took me to Sunday School, she would take me to Clara's class and Clara would receive me with open arms and a big smile. All through her years as we have known and seen her from time to time, she always had her lovely smile.
May the God of all comfort bring comfort to you, knowing that Clara is in heaven with the Jesus she loved and served so long and we look forward to seeing her again in heaven. God bless all the family and friends of Clara Dixon.

As I remember my great aunt Clara, I am reminded of her kind warm spirit. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. My father Darrell Blair loved her with all his heart. He and I were so blessed to see aunt Clara turn 100. Now he is sick and in a nursing home and unable to celebrate or understand her passing. He and my mom were there when her Donald passed and her Carter, now they are again together with the person she loved most Jesus. You will be missed but we are all better knowing that you will be waiting for us in heaven.
