Obituary

Bruno Joseph Carrocce, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 8th, 2005 at The Manor at Whitehall. Bruno was a WWII veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents Illario and Teresa, sisters Catherine(Ascension) Ornelas, Mary (Dominic) Commisso, brothers Victor (Mary Lou) and James, brothers-in-law Julian Grannie, James Mastrangelo and Donald Centofanti,Thomas Jaconette, Fred Jaconette, Anthony (Mary) Jaconette and Edilio "Blupe" Jaconette, Lucy (Clyde) Harris. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Raffaella (Jaconetti), daughters Donna (Bill) Durrant, Beverly Bucher and son Larry(Linda), grandchildren Deanna (Chris) Conti, Lori (Joe) Cardamone, B.J.(Tracey) Durrant, Christy (Eric) Fouts, Paula Bucher, Nicole Carrocce, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers Ralph(Irene), Dominic (Verne), sisters Lena Grannie, Carmel Mastrangelo, Annie Balough, Virginia Centofanti, Mary (Herbert) Steele, Ida Jaconette, Elva Jaconette, Helen Jaconette, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, March 11th, 2005 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 5:00-9:00PM with the Abruzzi Club Service at 7:00 PM and a Prayer Service at 8:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 12th, 2005 at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church 720 Hamlet Street, Columbus, Ohio. Rev. Fr. William A. Metzger, Celebrant, and Rev. Fr. Richard C. Weyls, Con-Celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Contributions can be made in Bruno's name to Disabled American Veterans, Dept. of OH, 35 E. Chestnut St. Suite 412, Columbus, OH 43215. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
