Obituary
Brett Francis LaCorte, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 23rd 2008. A graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School, Class of 1982 and earned a football scholarship to Salem College in West Virginia. He was very proud of his Sicilian heritage and loved to attend the Columbus Italian Festival. Brett was also an avid sports fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Buckeyes. He is preceded in death by his father, John Francis LaCorte, nephew, Doug Grandy and canine friend "Clyde". Survived by his beloved Cynthia "Sissy" Gianelli, son, Zac, mother Roberta, brothers; Doug, Scott(Tammy), sisters Heidi(Mike)Mason, Amy, Leslie, Autumn(Rick)Darnell and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Brett is eternally loved and will be dearly missed. Friends may call WEDNESDAY, August 27th 2008 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 3:00-8:00 PM. Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 AM on THURSDAY, August 28th 2008 at the funeral home, Dr. Tracy Fowler, Officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Brett to the Zachary Dawes 529 College Fund, c/o Fifth Third Bank, Bexley Banking Center, 3011 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43209.
