Obituary

Betty Mae Tocci, 85, of Grandview died July 5th, 2008 after a long illness. She was born on May 20th, 1923, the daughter of John and Ruth Sherman. She was a long time member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, an excellent cook and especially enjoyed baking pizzelles. She worked for the State of Ohio and Riverside Hospital as a switch board operator. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 47 years, Michael V. Tocci, son-in-law Charlie James, sisters-in-law Mary Moras and
Clementine Wuertenburg. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Montenaro, son Michael S. Tocci of North Carolina and daughter Ruthanne James, 8 grandchildren: Andy James, Molly Newberry, Michael(Irene)Tocci, Frank Tocci, Rosalie(Donnie)Kinney, Anne Marie(Bryan)Fail of North Carolina, Rocco(Barbie) Tocci, Nick Tocci and Louanne Risinger, 8 great-grandchildren: Tim, Tiffany, Tony, J.R., Caleb, Makayla, Isaac and Kylie. Also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Friends may call THURSDAY, July 10th 2008 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on FRIDAY, July 11th 2008 at St. Christopher Catholic Church 1420, Grandview Avenue, Msgr. John K. Cody, Presider. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Betty to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
