Obituary

Barbara Ann Montenaro(Briggs),64, long time resident of Clintonville with her loving husband of 44 years, passed away on Friday, August 01, 2003 at Select Specialty Hospital, after a devastating illness. Born in Des Plains, Illinois.She is preceded in death by Parents William and Evelyn Briggs. She volunteered with her husband at St. Johns Italian Church Festival, for many years and tended children of working teachers in the area.She loved her husband, children and animals dearly, and was devoted to her family and faithful companion Fritz her Dachshund. She loved traveling and saw most of the USA and Canada, Survived by Loving husband Robert (Monty), sons Gregg (Patty), Chris and Pat. Grandchildren, Beth, Derek, Dustin, Tiffany, David and Taylor. Brothers Richard (Sandy) Briggs, Thomas Briggs, sisters Marilyn (Thomas) Storm and Bonnie Briggs, many loving aunts and uncles, especially Mary and Frank Monaco, Al and Jean Montenaro, and Joe and Helen Montenaro, many nieces,nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday, August 04, 2003 and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday August 5, 2003 at the John Quint & Sons Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue. Funeral Service and Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 05, 2003 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S. High Street, Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Officiating.
