We are very sad to hear of your grandpa's death. His life was amazing and he was so fortunate to have such a big family who loves him so much (and a granddaughter who took such good care of him when he needed it!). Lean on each other and stay strong. We love you.

It was a great blessing for me to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with you at Gus' bedside. He was so blessed to have his loving family gathered around him in prayer as he spent those last hours waiting to see the Face of God. My prayers have continued for you all during these days of mourning his loss. Your love for Gus was very evident to me as I visited with you. In your suffering over his death, may you be comforted by God's grace and peace. May God bless you for your goodness and for your kindness to Children of Mary.
Love and Prayers,
Sister Margaret Mary, CM

I am sincerely sorry to hear that Gus has passed on - in the approximately four years I have known him - I can honestly say I have not met a man who could make you feel so comfortable and welcome as Gus did - he was a wonderful person and from my observations, husband, father and grandfather. Everyone you meet in life is a teacher of some sort and Gus has definitely touched my life in a positive way - I will personally miss him greatly. My deepest condolences.

My father was a friend and also worked with Gus in the Insurance business
back in the late "Fifty" for a company call Kentucky Central Life Ins. I know that my Dad thought of and spoke of "Gus" many times. I ask Gods Blessings and peace for the family as you go thru this time of sadness. The last time I seen and talk to Gus was at the Pizza place. I do know his son who
I have talk too many time at Teritas.
I believe the Pope was a good & rightous
man and I know Gus was a good man.

God Bless, Dick Merritt, a friend.
