Arthur Albert Rossi (aka: Art, Ettore, Dad, Papu, Grandpa) at the age of 85, left this world to join his loving wife Edna E. Art was born in San Peitro Avalana, Italy on May 18, 1921 and traveled to the United States, his beloved ‘homeland’ at the age of 7. Married nearly 58 years to his wife Edna(Smith)Rossi, who he greatly missed for nearly 2 years. Art attended Central High School; was a World War II Veteran of the 37th Army Infantry Division MP Co. and retired from the Pennsylvania (Conrail) Railroad. Art was very mechanically-minded. He built the first TV set in Grandview, maybe even in Columbus; loved CB radios and any kind of gadget. Proud father of twin boys, Al(Dona)Rossi of Dayton and Art(Nina)Rossi of Hilliard; and his "daddy’s little girl", Sandi(Rick)Rockwell of Columbus, grandchildren, Misty(Jerry)Pyle; Steve Rossi; Annette Rossi; DeeDee(Joe)Terrell and Sheryl Rossi; seven great-grandchildren: Adam, Nick, Elijah, Isaiah, Ariel, JoDee and Olivia; loving sisters, Yola Rossi, Norma(Tom)Eviston; and sisters-in-law: Fay McKenzie, Neva Massart and June Smith; brother-in-law: Darrell Clifton; nieces: Toni(Tom)Hinkley, Daralyn Green; nephew: Bob(Lesley)Eviston; and many other loving relatives and friends. Friends may call TUESDAY, August 29th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 8:00 PM. I WAS SORRY TO READ OF YOUR FATHER'S PASSING. I THINK YOU MAY BE THE SAME SANDI ROSSI WHO WENT TO INDIANOLA JR HIGH AND NORTH HIGH SCHOOL WITH ME. I LOST MY FATHER 4 YEARS AGO AND I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS.I'VE LOOKED FOR YOUR NAME ON THE POLAR BEAR WEBSITE IN THE PAST. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
