Anthony Dascenzo, born August 27, 1914, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Hart County Hospital, Hartwell, Georgia. Survived by devoted wife Esther, sister-in-law Alina (Lawrence) Schreller. Retired form The Ohio State University. Preceding in death by Sophia Dascenzo, parents Guerino & Micheline Dascenzo; sisters Vera, Faye, Anne, Helen, Rena and brother Louis. Survived by brother Pete (Pat) Dascenzo, brother-in-law Frank Morone, sons William and Ronald (Rachel) Dascenzo, daughters Patricia Dascenzo and Sharon (Ken) Cashner, grandchildren, Robert, Paul (Jessica), Stephen (Ericka), James Dascenzo and Ken Cashner, great grandchild Mia Simone Dascenzo and also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call SUNDAY, December 28th, 2008 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM MONDAY, December 29, 2008 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, Msgr. Romano Ciotola Presider. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street. PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish, may contribute in memory of Anthony to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Our Lady of Victory. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
