Obituary

Alice G. DiPietro, age 95, passed away on June 20, 2012. She was born on December 3, 1916 in Columbus to the late Gustino and Julia Teatino. Alice graduated from Linden Mckinley High School. She was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church, St. Clair Athletic Club and S.F.I. Auxiliary. Alice will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family. She was affectionately called "Big Al". Alice was a wonderful matriarch and great cook. She loved her college sports and those "Buckeyes". Alice devoted her life to her husband Serio J. DiPietro who has preceded her in death and to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister; Virginia (John) Convertine, son; David (Patti) DiPietro, daughter; Sharon (Pete) Bush, brother-in-law Dante Guzzo, three grandchildren; Steve Bush, Denise (Ben) Dils, Kristin (Dana Bumbrey) DiPietro and two great grandchildren Ella Grace and Halle Marie. Alice is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call SUNDAY June 24, 2012 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 1:00-5:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 1:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on MONDAY June 25 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus, Ohio, Rev. Fr. James T. Smith, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. A special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Annie's Angels Home Care Services, especially Lisa Jackson Penn.
