Obituary

Albert Anthony Montenaro, age 84, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2003 at his residence. Loving husband, father and grandfather, Born December 26, 1918. Veteran of World War ll with General Patton's 4th Armored Division. Charter member of VFW Post 2374 and Military Order of Purple Heart. Lifelong member of the American Italian Golf Association. Retired from the State of Ohio. He is preceded in death by parents Guiseppe and Catarina Montenaro, sisters Grace Martina and Angeline Meseke, brothers Louis, Pat and Tony.. Survived by wife of 59 years Jean, sons David (Patty) and Don, daughters Diana (John) Conley and Chris (Randy) Ross. Sister Mary (Frank) Monaco, brother Joe (Helen) Montenaro. Sister-in-law Dorothy Montenaro. Grandchildren Michael and Debra, Scott (Emily), Tim (Brandi) and Joshua Montenaro, John Conley and Shelby, Samantha, Marisa and Bryan Ross, Two great grandchildren Mason and Madison Montenaro. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at the John Quint & Sons Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003, Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S. High Street, within the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Arthur W. Wiles, Officaiting. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to the Hospice at Riverside/Grant.
