Obituary

Deborah Jean Henry, age 72, of Columbus, OH, unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Lois R. and William S. Clark. "Debbie" graduated from North Hills High School, Pugh, PA, and had a long insurance career with Kemper, Allstate and Sedgwick. Debbie was an active member of Boulevard Presbyterian Church where she served in many roles but was especially passionate about those where she shared her talents as a member of the Choir and the Hospitality Ministry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Henry, and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Heather R. (Matthew) Hagman, and Holly E. Henry, both of Columbus, a brother David A. (Kerry) Clark of Franklin, TN, a sister Marcy C. (Donnie) Hill of Cincinnati, OH, and 3 grandchildren, Abby Hagman, Matthew Hagman, Jr. and Garrett Fischer, all of Columbus. Also surviving are brothers-in-law Tom Henry and Doug (Maria) Henry, sister-in-law Janice Henry, all of Columbus, and a dear aunt, Marla Clark of Mars, PA, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Debbie was also fortunate to have a group of caring and compassionate friends and a church family who meant the world to her. All will remember her as a kind and caring soul with a true servant's heart. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 2-5pm at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W FIFTH AVE. Funeral Service 10am on Monday at the Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1235 Northwest Boulevard, Columbus, OH 43212. PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made in Debbie's name to Boulevard Presbyterian Church, designating special funds for music/kitchen ministries, or to the Free to Smile Foundation www.freetosmile.org/donate.
