Obituary

Helen M. (Kuhn) Volpe, in the presence of God, passed away in her home on March 29, 2021, at the age of 101. Preceded in death by husband, Quinto Volpe. Helen was born in Columbus, Ohio and was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, Ohio, with childhood memories from the communities of Columbus, Grandview and Hilliard. Helen, being part of the Greatest Generation lived through the Great Depression, and gave service as a factory war employee during the female War efforts of WWII, while at the same time raising a family. Helen, also being a dedicated mother and life long family care giver. Helen, and her late husband, Howard F. Frazier, were blessed with three sons and one daughter. Preceded in death by sons, Raymond Leo, Richard Martin and Melvin Lee Frazier; parents, Leo L. and Hazel A. (Billingsley) Kuhn; sisters, Alice McKay, Mildred Pierce and Beatrice Holbein; brothers, Lawrence, Emery, Roger and Norman Kuhn. Past member of the Columbus Maennerchor. Retired from F&R Lazarus Company. Survived by daughter Linda (Danny) Van Dyke; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all family members and personal aides for care and support. Gratitude with special thanks to Hospice services provided by The National Church Residences. Funeral 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, where friends may call from 11 a.m., until time of service. Rev.
