Go gently into the night, my precious friend. When we met at the 8th Grade Dance at St. Chris in 1955, I knew we'd be forever friends - and we were! I will miss you but, watching you suffer over the past too many months, I know your Mark, Sister Mary Madeline, Sr. Genny, St. Jo, Sr. Mary Christine and dear classmates are greeting you at the Pearly Gates to escort you to God on His throne where He'll warmly welcome you with "Well done, good and faithful servant! The Kingdom of Heaven is your eternal reward! No more weeping nor wailing nor gnashing of teeth. " God rest your soul, dear Cindy!

I'm very sorry for your loss! You and Cindy were great members of the Buckeye Santas. You are co-founders of the group and because of your vision and Cindy's it was possible for others to be a great Santa. Your Santa family is here if you need anything! God bless you and your family!

I first met Cindy at work. We worked for different companies on the same floor. She was always gracious and had a smile for everyone. I kept in contact with her through her generosity to Birthright. She was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in the peach of Christ Cindy.

Doug, you and Cindy are the best of neighbors. I am so glad that since 1999 you’ve been mine. I will always remember the look of joyful surprise on my then 2 year-old grandson’s face when Mr. and Mrs. Claus knocked on his grandma’s door and came into her living room!! What a special moment for him. I treasure the friendship we’ve shared.

Dearest Santa (Doug), I am deeply saddened to learn of Mrs. Claus' Passing... You and she came into my life so many years ago for Cancer Can't Stop Christmas! Today I was looking at recent past photos and called Cindy to check on her since it had been a while since we last spoke.

Do know that you both will forever be part of the Christians Overcoming Cancer family and that Cancer Can't Stop Christmas would not have become what it is today had it not been for the spirit of love you and Cindy brought to it.

I know she is with the Lord and one day we will see each other again.

She will be missed but forever will be in my heart.
