Obituary

Petrina Rosalie Agriesti, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Arlington Court Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Petrina was born June 12, 1930 in Adena, Ohio and graduated from Adena High School, later attending Bliss College. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church and was not only a devoted wife, but a devoted mother to her children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sara (L'Donne) Milicia; brothers-in-law, Jim Tose, John and Charles Agriesti; sisters-in-law, Dolores DiSabato, Mary Sue Agriesti and Joyce Agriesti; and son Frank's mother-in-law, Donna Murphy. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; children, Rose K. Agriesti, Denise J. Agriesti, Mark J. Agriesti and Frank (Shaun) Agriesti; grandsons, Nicholas J. and Vincent M. Agriesti, and Jamie (Sencha'l) Murphy; great-grandchildren, Addison and Camille Murphy; sister, Angie Tose; brother, Pete (Evelyn) Milicia; brother-in-law, Anthony Agriesti; sister-in-law, Bonnie Agriesti; and many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, 2017, from 2-6 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue. Friends and family are asked to gather on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10 a.m., for her funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street (Italian Village), with Rev. Fr. Anthony Lonzo, Presiding. Burial to follow, St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne. Her family wishes to thank Arlington Court Nursing Home and OhioHealth Hospice for their care of Petrina. The family also wishes to thank all who have supported them in faith, friendship and prayer. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations in her name be given to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus (43215).
