I was saddened to read of Nick's passing in today's Dispatch. My heart goes out to Bev and family. Though I didn't know Nick well, his compassionate personality came through as larger than life. I feel so fortunate that I got to see him in January at the VW Club banquet and will remember his bear hug. I am honored to have known a man such as Nick, who made it a life mission to try to make the lives of cancer families a little better and brighter. I know he will be missed by many.

I am very sad to learn of Nick passing away. I will never forget the first time I met Nick at Modern Music 30 years ago. My partner and I were young, new businessmen who had been turned down by other vendors. When we met Nick for the very first time, he got up, approached us with an extended hand, warm smile and kind, sincere "hello". I have never forgotten how well Nick treated us the first time we met and thereafter. I try to emulate him when I meet new clients or business associates. I am grateful to have known him. My sincerest condolences to the entire Circone Family.

I cannot express the surprise & sadness I felt when I read that Nick had passed. He was such a vibrant positive force who personified ȁCfamilyȁD. I met Nick in the early 90’s volunteering with Kids ‘n Kamp. For more than a decade, we worked together on fundraisers & events including the annual Christmas party for kids with cancer and their families, the Mystery Night fundraisers, Football Mania and more. Nick (& Bev) had the ability to make everyone feel like part of the family. I introduced them to my VW club (Central Ohio Vintage Volkswagen Club) in the 90’s and the club is still supporting K’nK. Moreover, Nick (& Bev) became personal friends of many of the people in the club, like family.

Family was what brought Nick the most pride & pleasure. You could see it in his eyes when he spoke of them. His children, grandchildren and extended family were his joy and his legacy. We should all hope to be able to give to the world as much as Nick Circone. He was a great man who gave freely to others and who will be missed by all who knew him.
