Obituary
Virginia (Finocchi) Wachinger, age 75, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Wachinger; daughters, Janelle (Joe) Obergfell and Gina Wachinger; grandsons, MacGregor, Jason, and Dustin Obergfell; brother, Joe (Chris) Finocchi; aunts, Nora Pellegrini and Mary (Nunzio) Mancini; sisters-in-law, Mary Thurn and Anne Susi; nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cesidio "Joe" and Bambina "Betty" (Susi) Finocchi. Virginia was a loving wife, mother and "Maw." The most important thing in her life was her family. They meant the world to her. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 3-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue (with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m.). Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2016, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6899 Smoky Row Road. Rev. Fr. Nic Ventura, Celebrant and Rev. Fr. Jerome P. Rodenfels, Concelebrant. Entombment to follow, Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Lewis Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are preferred to Our Lady of Bethlehem School and Childcare Hardship Fund, 4567 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus (43214). Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com. Because you loved us, we have been changed for good.
