Violet (Vi) Jane Massenelli, age 90, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was born December 18, 1924, to the late Antonio and Josephine D’Aiuto. Preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Richard Massenelli; daughter, Vicki Sayman; son-in-law, Ronald Cyre; sister, Corona Dennison; father and mother-in law, Louis and Frances Massenelli; sister-in-law, Angela Massenelli. Vi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed by her loved ones. She is survived by her daughter, Vera Cyre; grandchildren, Yvonne, Mike, and Brian (Kristi) Cyre, Rick (Connie), and Joe Sayman; great-grandchildren, Heather Klausman, Elijah Cyre Ellis, Ryder and Brynn Cyre, Tyler and Dylan Sayman; brother, Charles (Jo) D’Aiuto; sisters, Lucille Cashell, Margaret Miller, and Mary Parker; sister-in-law, Carol (Richard) Conie; brothers-in-law, Lou and Tom Massenelli; son-in-law, Tom Sayman; numerous nieces and nephews; long-time treasured friend, Toni Petrick. A private family service was held with Father Cyrus M. Haddad of St. Brendan’s Church presiding. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
