Loreen C. Carifa, age 75 of Worthington, she was born June 30, 1940 in Columbus, OH, and passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Michael and Rebecca Moody, Laura and Mike Hanley, David and Tracey Moody, Linda and John Kuder and her eleven grand children, Jessie, Ryan, Tyler, Leah, Jake, Katie, Jimmy, Grace, Zak, Claire and Ashley. Along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A devoted member of the Worthington Seventh-Day Adventist Church for 42 years, she was actively involved in their childrens' department and many of their outreach ministries. She was a co-founder of the Street Beat Ministry that for 29 years has prepared and provided weekly meals for the residents of the “Friends of the Homeless Shelter” in downtown Columbus. A memorial service in her honor will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., at the Worthington SDA Church, 385 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Worthington, OH.
