Obituary

Elisabeth "Omi" Schirk, age 91, went to be with Jesus on Friday October 31, 2014. She was born on April 21, 1923 in Hannover, Germany, the daughter of the late Johann and Helene (Howind) Maass. Lisa was a "superfan" of WWE wrestling, a platinum supporter of QVC and enjoyed shopping, baking and cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; grandson-in-law, Shawn Underwood; brother, Hans Maass and sister, Gerda Hess. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene (John) DeMatteo and Brigitte Hearn; grandchildren, David (Deborah) Hearn, Stefan (Lucia) DeMatteo, Carter (Monica) Hearn, Nina Underwood, Megan (Tony) Hume and Taylor (Kristyn) Hearn; great-grandchildren, Noelle, C.J., Nico, Mia, Sonny, Gabrielle, Madison, Lilly and Willow; and sister, Helene Hill. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, where her funeral will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lisa's name are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN (38105). Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
