Obituary

James V. Coffey, Jr., age 62, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Riverside Hospital. Jim graduated from North High School and The Ohio State University, and was also a veteran of the U.S. Army as a Military Police officer. He began his career as a Licensed Professional Clincal Counselor working at Rosemont, Harding Hospital and Children's Hospital. He later worked at Honda of America in Die Maintenance. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 239 and faculty member of Reality Therapy Institute. He is preceded in death by his father, James V. Coffey, Sr., and his sister, Carol Ann Lombardo. He is survived by his wife, Jenny Marie (DiMarzo) Coffey; son, Joseph Vincent (Laurel) Coffey; grandsons, Ethan and Wyatt; mother, Mary Eileen Coffey; brother, Richard; sisters, Colleen Butz, Beverly Todaro and Kay Walker; nieces and nephews; and also, brother-in-law, Jimbo (Gina) DiMarzo and their children, Danielle and Anthony. Friends may call on Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, where his funeral will be on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon). Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are preferred to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbus, 115 S. Gift St., Columbus (43215).
