George left his mark on the City of Columbus with many award winning mosaics and terrazzo floors including St. Joseph Cathedral, The Ohio Theatre, and The Schottenstein Center. George and a business partner acquired The Ardit Company in 1984. He continued to operate the business until he retired in 2000. George enjoyed family, friends and life. He was a member of the Abruzzi Club and an avid bocce player. He enjoyed hunting and was a seasoned world traveler. The last month of his life he did what he enjoyed most spending time in Italy and taking a Mediterranean cruise with his family.
