Obituary

Our beautiful Nana made her grand entrance into Heaven on July 19, 2014. She showed us the true meaning of strength time and time again but ultimately God had plans to reunite her with Papa and our other loved ones. We are all very proud of the life she lived here on earth. She loved unconditionally, forgave easily, gave generously and brought so much happiness to our lives. She had a heart of gold and was always the life of the party. Our faith tells us that we will meet again someday in Heaven, perhaps at the roulette table, the dance floor or "the club." Carol J. (Reau) Gorman, born in Toledo, Ohio, she moved to Columbus and graduated from St. Joseph Academy where several classmates became lifelong friends. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gladys Reau; brothers, Robert and Jim; sister, MaryAnn; husband, Jack Gorman; son, Gary Gorman; and grandson, Jimmy Badley. Survived by son, Michael (Anne) Gorman; daughters, Chris (Ted) Badley; Diane (Mark) Francescon; Julienne (Roger) Escolas; brother, Jack (Anne) Reau, grandchildren, Matthew, Marcus (Edit), and Daniel Gorman; Katie (Jim) Lake, Patrick and Jeremy Badley; Joe (Jessie), Danny, Johnny, Tony, and Natalia Francescon; Kevin, Brian, Robbie, and Michael Escolas; great grandchild, Benedict Gorman; sister-in-law, Rachel (Harold) Stout, many nieces, nephews, and dear family friend, Bob Pulsfort. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 25, 2014, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, OH (43212). A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary St. John Catholic Church, 648 South Ohio Ave, Columbus, OH (43205), at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2014, with Father Joshua Wagner, Celebrant. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in Carol's memory to a charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
