I am at a loss for words as I watch my best friend go through the worst time of her life. I will forever be in pain as long as you are. I love you so much Brit and I know how much you and your Dad love each other. He will always be with you and you will see him again someday. Until then, I will be right here by your side through it all. We will remember him for the happy guy that he was and will always be. You know he would want us all to "party on". I'm so thankful that you have T to be by your side. He is amazing. I love you to the moon and back and I will keep you and the family in my prayers.

So very sorry to all of you on the sudden and too soon loss of your father, son, brother and friend.

Herbie spoke to me like an old friend from the first day we met, many years ago. He was very fun to be around and fully enjoyed his life, his family and his friends as only a few people can. He stuck out a rough job for 30 years and made many friends along the way.

Herbie was a good looking guy who had a lot of cool in him, a hip taste in music and a great ear for bands. When he liked a band, I listened. He's probably leading a dance line right now.

Herbie Steele will be sorely missed by all of us. Minnie loved him best for a reason.
