Obituary

Annie Marinelli Schornak has gone to be with her Lord and Master Jesus Christ on April 27, 2017. Annie resided at Chapel Grove Inn in Heath, Ohio for the past seven years, but spent most of her life in Grandview Heights. Annie was born in McDowell County, West Virginia, June 17,1924 to the late Ambrose and Mary Marinelli. Annie is preceded in death by her faithful and loyal husband of 61 years, Charles L Schornak. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Angelo and sisters, Esther and Pauline. Annie is survived by daughters, Charlene (Ken) Graves of Dublin and Michele Dave) Daubenmire of Thornville. Grandchildren, Charles (Tracy) Graves, Zachary Daubenmire, Abigail (Morgan) Engeman and Maggie (lsaiah) Creasap. Great grandchildren, Reese, Macy, David and Mia. Brothers, Nunzie and Tony (Julie) Marinelli and sister, Rosie (Bob) Carver; and scores of nieces, nephews and cousins. Annie worked in Columbus for the U.S. Selective Service, Curtis Wright Company and was vice-president of Able Printing Company. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, where she was a former member of the Women's Club. Annie was active in many groups in Grandview Heights. Friends may call on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 12-1:30 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, concluding with her funeral at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Timothy Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne.
