No words to express the sorrow you are having. I remember her coming across the street to check on my parents and bringing goodies to my Dad after Mom died. Wonderful person who was always kind and considerate. I was blessed to know her.

Toni, I was deeply sorry to hear of the loss of Yola Rossi. You may not remember me but I was the department secretary and worked with Margot Burnett to send Yola off with a glorious and well deserved retirement party. I loved Yola with all my heart. Please know that I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

My heartfelt sympathies on the loss of a woman who mentored many people onto increasing positions of responsibility through their work careers at Nationwide Insurance. Yola was a wonderful manager and never failed to provide feedback to us in a straight forward and fair manner. She was kind of like a work Mom to all of us. I have many wonderful memories of being a Group and Life Underwriter under her guidance.

My memories of Yola go back to her days with an interest in photography. We used to chat about photos while attending meetings of the Central Ohio Photographic Society, and while driving her home from meetings. She was an interesting young lady to talk to, and I remember her well. My condolences to the family on losing such a great woman

Dear Yola
You were the best sister-in-law that anyone could have ever hoped to have. In addition to being an accomplished professional for Nationwide Insurance for 47 years, you were a very multi-talented individual whose skills in wood carving, oil painting, and photography were major accomplishments. But most of all, your deep love for your Catholic faith was like a shining star. Your evangalistic smile was always there, especially to those in most need of God's mercy.

Your Brother in law and friend in Christ

My deepest sympathies in your loss. She was a great person to work for during her time at Nationwide. I worked for her for about 5 years. She will be missed. Unlike many bosses these days, Yola always had your back and stood behind you.

Toni, you had the best aunt in the whole wide world. What a lady! And, Norma, I'll bet Yola always gave you a run for your money :) I met Yola on my first or second day at Nationwide. I was a young girl of 17. Yola took me immediately under wing and showed me the ropes and told me to always act like a lady. She taught me about saving for the future and scolded me when I needed it, especially in the 60s when my skirts were too short. She was my Corporate Mother. I'll forever be grateful to her for the life lessons she taught me, especially to never apologize for my faith. Was able to keep up with her through the years at our group dinners. She was always interested in what me and Larry were doing. She will be missed by me, but my memories of her will live on.

Norma, I worked with Yola at Nationwide Ins. back in the early 1950's. Yola and Teresa Melaragno were hostesses for my wedding in 1956. She was a special friend and I have many warm memories of times we spent together both at Nationwide and afterward. Because of health issues I am unable to come to Columbus. Please accept my condolences to you and your family on the loss of Yola. She was a special friend who I will remember always.
Sincerely,
Libbie (Braskett)Johnson

So sorry to hear of Yola's passing. My first job at Nationwide I had the opportunity to work with Yola. Found memories. She would pronounce my name wrong so I would call her Rola. When one of my co workers called her that she let him have it and said I was the only one to call her that. The group of us always had good laughs with her. RIP ROLA.
