Obituary
Joseph Edward Neal, age 87, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Joe retired from Timken Roller Bearing Company after 30 years; he graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and then served in the Navy during WWII. Besides being an active member of St. James the Less Parish, he also played the trumpet for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret Rose (Brady) Neal; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Roseann; and sister, Margaret Ann. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Matacia) Neal; children, Maryanne (Bill) Phillips, Michael (Sue) Neal, Elaine (David) Porchetti, Joseph (Michelle) Neal, Karen (Tim) Keny, Cathy (Alan) Geho and Lorie (Michael) Dorrian; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Avenue, Columbus. Burial to follow, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.
