Olga (Leschyshyn) Clemons, age 91, of Grandview Heights, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, July 10, 2015. Olga led a full life starting in the Ukraine in 1923, and moving to Canada as a young child. Her family settled in a rural farming community in the Interlake region of central Manitoba, where she was an active hand on her family farm. She moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where she later met and married her husband, Hubert, in 1945. Hubert served in the U.S. Air Force during and after World War II, throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. After military service, they lived in White Sulfur Springs, WV, moving to Columbus in 1964. Olga worked for many years at Grant Hospital, retiring to care for Hubert during his illness. Olga spent decades as an avid gardener, even up to her final months at her home while enjoying her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-
great-grandchildren, and her dogs, Koko and Jinko. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert; her parents, Mary “Baba” and Stanley Leschyshyn; her daughter, Sonja Panzera; as well as her brother, Mike Leschyshyn. She is survived by her sister Annie, and brother, Joe, Canada; daughter, Connie Vance (Fred Mondragon), Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Jeff (Lora)
Vance; great-grandchildren, Jarod, Sarah and Emily; great-great-granddaughter, Lilly, Phoenix, AZ; grandson, David Vance, Columbus; son-in-law, Paul Panzera; grandchildren, Anthony (Julie), Paula, Christopher, Mathew, and Paul "PJ" Panzera, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Alessandro "Alex", Mario, Calista, Enzio, Lucia and Mattea, of Grandview Heights. The family would like to give special thanks to her caring, wonderful and exceptional friends, Jerry Vance, Ray and Shirley Salyers and Marlene Walker; caregiver, Candy Rotolo, and loving relatives who provided for her during her days. Her family will receive friends (Today), Monday, July 13, 2015, from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West 5th Avenue, Columbus, where her funeral will at 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
