Samuel J. Straquadine, age 81, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at The Arbors Nursing Home in West Jefferson Ohio. Retired from COTA, Veteran WW II, U.S. Army. Survived by wife Edith; daughters, Mary (Richard) Odom and Annette Straquadine; sons Daniel (Linda) Straquadine, Anthony Straquadine and Philip Straquadine; brother John Straquadine, 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Samuel is preceded in death by beloved daughter Angelina Matthews, parents Samuel and Angelina Straquadine and brothers Dominic, Anthony, Angelo, Frank and Joseph. Friends may call TUESDAY January, 26, 2010 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 6:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on WEDNESDAY, January 27, 2010 at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, Ohio, Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kitsmiller, Presider. On behalf of our family here in Albuquerque, I would like to express our sincere condolences on the death of Uncle Sam. We just lost our Dad (your Uncle Tony) on January 11, and we know the depth of your sorrow. Know that they are now together in heaven with Nana and all the brothers who have passed before them.
