Obituary
Olga Carolyn Casagrande, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Broadview Health Care Center. Born April 27th, 1922 to the late Artibano & Maria Marchi. Olga is preceded in death by her sisters, Lena (Al) Ornella, Lucy (Ray) Marchi, brothers, Angelo (Mary) Marchi and Roger (Marti) Marchi. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Evaristo, sons, Tony (Peggy) and Michael, grandchildren, Vincent & Ashley, sisters Irene (Edward) Perrini, Janet (Roman) Krauss and brother Peter Marchi, niece Rossana Verolin, several cousins in Casarsa, Pordenone, Italy and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call MONDAY, January 11, 2010 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on TUESDAY, January 12, 2010 at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, Ohio, Rev. Fr. Adam Streitenberger, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. The family would like to invite all who attends to a bereavement dinner following the burial in the under-croft of St. Matthew Church. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Olga to the St. Matthews Charitable Works, 807 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. To all our other Casagrande "family" members -
This week we learned of the passing of an ANGEL in our lives...Olga was a mother and grandmother to each one of us just about all our lives. We were blessed to have her enter our lives, as a yound married couple, and agreed to take wonderful care of our two children - Michelle and Justin. Olga was like a grandmother to them, so kind, gentle and we know loved them very much. And, the feeling was and is mutual - we love Olga (and Evaristo)and think of them each and every day. If I have to try to think of something uplifting in this day of sadness, it would be that we know that Olga is still a bright, shining, and beautiful ANGEL still watching over us..and that is what will get us through this time of sadness.
Evaristo, Tony, Mickey, Peggy, and Janet - we would love to see you all; let's plan to get together soon.

I am sending my sincere sympathy to your family. My relationship with my Father as you know has been extremely strained, not all he says is true. I felt it was better I stay away. My heart and my thoughts are with you for such a great Mother. She was truly one of my favorites. I wanted to let you know she made all my drapes when I was engaged for our first house. She was so much fun. She would always tell me I was getting cookie for my wedding gift. I would just laugh. Her and my Mother Lucia were the best of friends. I will miss her also. Sorry for the extended years of being out of the Marchi family but at this time I think it is best. My prayers are with you's. Never to be forgotton.
