I just wanted to say to all you guys: were we the luckiest "kids" in the world or what? Was there ever a day in your life that you didn't know how much both your parents loved you? You know all those corny emails that go around now days that talk about "do you remember", they remind me of the innocent days when we were kids and our parents were such honest, hard working, loving people and how lucky we were. My favorite memories are from when we lived on Elmwood and our families spent so much time together. I don't know if we ever completely get over losing our parents, especially our mothers. But one thing is for sure, they are always with us. They are in our hearts, and at the darndest times, you will feel her smiling down at you and you will know she is there. You guys are lucky too that you have each other. Joe and Sharon and Mike and me are all still very close and that is just one more thing our parents taught us. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers and after things settle down a bit, give me a call, maybe we can do that lunch we have been talking about for years now!
Take care,
Love to you all,
Sandy

We are so very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was a lovely lady, and I know you all will miss her terribly. I feel your pain as my precious mother passed away last June. Please know that we love you all and will be praying for you.
Treasure your memories and those happy times that you shared with her. They will sustain you.
God bless you ,
Joan and Tim

What a wonderful mother you had--and what a wonderful family she and your dad raised! I am sure she and Joe are bursting with joy at being together and with pride at the legacy they created. And I'm pretty sure your dad has her cooking all his favorites by now!
I wish you peace as you walk the path to acceptance in the days ahead--we truly are never ready to say goodbye. And I wish you comfort in your many memories and the love you carry with you always.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
