I am very saddened by the passing of Danny: It had been many years since we were in touch, but I still remember our childhood days @ St. Christopher & then High School Days @ Watterson. Even though I never met his wife & children, I am quite sure he was an incredible husband, father, & Grandfather! I know in my heart, Danny was an inspiration to all of you & loved you all "Very Much!" My deepest sympathy to all of you! Adios Danny Murphy, till we meet again!

I knew Danny through my my brother in law Chief Mike Mauger and his family. I have not seen Dan for a few years but have fond memories of spending time with him and the Mauger family on many occasions. Dan was a very nice man and I know he was a very good friend to Mike and a fine policeman. My sympathies to his family.
