Obituary

Norma Jean Patton, age 74, passed away on Saturday September 10, 2016 at Mt. Carmel/St. Ann's Hospital. Graduated from Flint Central High School and received her nursing degree from Charles Stewart Mott College, Flint Michigan.
Norma worked as a Geriatric nurse for 40 years in Michigan and Ohio, she was a Nurse supervisor, taught nursing aide training classes, and was a wellness nurse at Trillium (Brookdale Corp). Norma loved family gatherings, dancing, camping and gospel music. She is preceded in death by parents, Leon and Dorothy (Shelton) Hatmaker, and brother William "Dub" Hatmaker. Survived by husband, David A. Patton, Children; Kelly L. (Waters) Gheller, Amy R. (Waters) Johnson, Christopher M. Gillett, brother; Jeffrey W. Hatmaker, grandchildren; Jamey Gheller, Aaron Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Noah Johnson and Dina Gillett. nephews Brandon and Stephen Hatmaker, nieces; Lisa Whisman, Lorna Quirk and Litha Hatmaker. Friends may call Thursday September 15, from 2-7 PM followed by Service at 7:00 PM. at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue. Private family inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery.
