Obituary

William J. Lee, age 95, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Forum at Knightsbridge. He and his wife, Loraine, were founding members of Linworth Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II; and he retired from Thompson Electronics. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel (Strawser) Lee; son, Robert; granddaughter, Teresa; brother, Thomas Lee and sister, Virginia Cantrell. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Loraine (Lamb) Lee; son, Dick (Janie) Lee; ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and his beloved Church family. His family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 5-8 p.m., at the Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Road, Worthington (43085), where his funeral will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow, Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of William to either Linworth Baptist Church or a charity of one's choice.
